Back to running

I have not trained / run properly since Great West on May 6th due to injury. I've tried running during that time and the end result has been painful.

I took 2 weeks off and decided no running at all. I then did a short run on Monday and it felt good. Very slow; (as planned) but I did it with no pain. Had a slightly faster run with club on Thursday. Ended up slightly sore; but nothing that a day of rest wouldn't solve. I then ran yesterday and that felt good. Again, it was slow; but not painful at all.

I am hoping I am fit enough to run all of Race for Life in 2 weeks time. That was originally the date I was going to attempt my first half marathon; but lack of training and injury meant I had to change my plan.
